Teddy Voyce

April 9th 2007 - April 22nd 2022

We had to say good-bye to our dear Teddy. He was 15 and spent all his time with us since I got him at 6 months old from the shelter. Even before I met my Trevor!

Teddy was more than a pet, he was a shoulder to cry on, a fearless protector, an amazing big brother, and a giver of love when the world made you question everything! He was my baby.

His heart kept fighting even after his body failed him, right to the last moment. Teddy always cared more about being there for us than about anything he needed or any pain he must have been in. To know a dog like him was to know true unconditional love, and he beat the odds the last 2 years. He kept that love flowing to all of us!

I am so grateful for Black Creek Mobile Veterinary Services for the amazing care and support Dr. Erica gave to us and to Teddy. She made a difficult time a bit easier by allowing him to be at home, and give our family the time we needed to say goodbye.

It’s been a relief that our other pets in our home have adjusted well to Teddy’s loss. I'm sure it’s due to the fact they got to say goodbye to him as well. Teddy was very missed by our cat honey! She was missing her snuggles with him, and took a much higher interest in snuggling with me especially the month following his passing.

We will miss you Teddy, but I am so happy knowing our years together will live on in our memories, and knowing you are finally able to run and jump again!
