Dear Ellie Munchkin,

We said goodbye to you today. You were our first dog and our first love. You celebrated so many good times with us, as well as some difficult ones.

You were an incredible dog with lots of quirks. You did not appreciate fireworks, thunder, roller blades, skateboards, blenders, or when your loved ones sneezed or coughed. Everything you loved, you loved with all of your heart: your family, Toby, yogurt, fresh corn, puppy cones, the beach, snow, family walks, playing "fetch", air conditioning, and licking the plates in the dishwasher.

We were blessed to spend almost 12 years with you, receiving your unconditional love on a daily basis. You went through a lot in the past few years, and when your pain became too much to fully enjoy your walks, we made the hard but necessary decision to relieve you of that burden. You are now in peace as our snow angel. We will always cherish our memories of you.

Goodbye sweet girl. We'll keep our memories of you forever in our hearts.
